Welcome to a performance by the Romanian artists Cosmina Moroșan and Anticorp Solar. They will be performing in English on the themes of migration, psychology and desire, drawing on the work of the avant-garde poet Gherasim Luca. Like many others in the Romanian avant-garde movement of the 20th century, Gherasim Luca was forced to move abroad. Luca moved to France, where he had to adapt to a new reality and a new language.

The Culture Night (Kulturnatten) performance will consist of a blend of sound, movement and poetry. Words for landscapes will become bodies, and words for bodies will become landscapes, as the boundaries between places and people are redrawn.

  • When: 4.00–5.00 pm on Saturday 19 September
  • Where: LUX:B129, Helgonavägen 3, Lund. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
  • How: The performance is free and open to the public.

This performance is a collaboration between the Sound Environment Centre and the Centre for Oresund Region Studies (CORS), curated by Georgiana Cojocaru. It forms part of Kulturnatten, Culture Night; read the full programme for the Joint Faculties of Humanities and Theology.
