The Sound Bench is a custom-made bench for sound art in the public space, created by Jonas Wahlström after an idea by the sound art company Audiorama. The Sound Bench is currently located in the northeast corner of the UB park in Lund (outside the auditorium of the Centre for Languages and Literature). The Sound Bench plays specially commissioned sound works on various themes. At the bottom of this page, you can read about all the sound works that premiered at The Sound Bench since it was installed in 2020. You can also listen to parts of the sound works and to interviews with the creators, via links to our Youtube channel.
