Call for proposals for grants to organise activities
The application period is open from 11 February to 11 March 2026
Grants for organising activities
The grant aims to enable employees at Lund University to organise activities and invite guests with the aim of raising awareness of sound and sound environments. The activities may be aimed at an academic audience and/or the general public. Examples of activities include seminars, lectures, conferences, exhibitions or events in collaboration with specific actors within the surrounding community. The activities must have a clear link to research on sound or sound environments.
An application may cover several different activities within the same framework. The call for applications does not have a predetermined amount. The funds can be used, for example, to cover fees and travel expenses for invited speakers and venue costs. However, the grant cannot be used to pay salaries for employees at Lund University. A preliminary programme and preliminary budget for the activity must be attached to the application.
If the grant is approved, the Sound Environment Centre must be listed as a co-organiser in the marketing of the activity. The Sound Environment Centre reserves the right to advertise the activity on its website and social media channels.

Your employment must correspond to at least 20 per cent of a full-time position. Your employment may be temporary but not intermittent (hourly employment). We accept applications from doctoral students as long as they meet the employment requirement.

The head of department/director must sign the application and guarantee that the employment meets the requirements for the grant.
