An Interactive Workshop with Benjamin Mjönes and Elias Stenmark

Welcome to an interactive workshop on music production using the forest as your instrument, led by Benjamin Mjönes and Elias Stenmark. You'll explore the entire creative process, from standing in the forest listening for sounds to producing and sharing your own music on social media. Along the way, you'll learn how natural sounds can become the foundation of original musical compositions. Benjamin and Elias are professional music producers, songwriters, and musicians. Over the past year, they have been creating music using nature as their instrument. Their videos and musical creations have gone viral, reaching millions of viewers on Instagram and TikTok.

When: Saturday, 19 September, 3:00–5:00 p.m. (including a break for fika)
Where: LUX:C214, Helgonavägen 3, Lund
Admission: Free and open to the public
Who: Ages 13–18

Everyone is welcome, but please note that the workshop will be conducted in Swedish.

This workshop is organised by the Sound Environment Centre as part of Kulturnatten. Read the full program for the Faculty of Humanities and Theology (in Swedish). In addition to Benjamin and Elias, teachers and students from Lund University's introductory course in music production will also take part.
